Acharya Sushil Kumarji Maharaj

(June 15, 1926 - April 22, 1994)

Acharya Sushil Kumarji Maharaj was an internationally revered Jain monk, teacher and author who devoted his life to practicing and educating others about peace, non-violence and knowledge of self. 

Guruji's was a "powerhouse of spiritual energy". He led interfaith conferences and global peace movements, established a 120-acre ashram called Siddhachalam in USA, and founded IMJM with branches in India, USA, and Canada to provide Jain education to all. Since its founding in 1983, IMJM has reached thousands of youth and adults.
