WHAT IS TASS?

Towards Ahimsa Secondary School (TASS) is a new private high school

where Jain values meet modern learning.

We offer online after-school courses for high school students.

Students can earn credits toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)

while exploring Jain values such as non-violence, truth, compassion, and self-discipline.

HOW IT WORKS?

  • Courses run from September to June, with some exceptions

  • Each school week includes:

    • 1 live online class (1.5 hours)

    • 1 independent work period (1.5 hours)

  • 6 in-person events throughout the year, including field trips and workshops

  • Taught by Ontario Certified Teachers

  • Earn credits toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)

  • For more information and course descriptions see the TASS 2025-2026 Calendar.

TASS is accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education

and authorized to grant high school credits toward

the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

Registration is now OPEN for the 2025-2026 school year.
